It was one year ago today that Sublime Goodness debuted with a short video of an Army Dad surprising his daughter for Christmas. For the first six months, I diligently posted almost every day and then went to once a week - but still filled my tiny corner of the internet with funny, sad, heroic, or just good news. Highlights of the year for me were making the Alltop site in the Good and Inspiration categories and also being listed as one of the "100 Best Blogs for Those Who Want to Change the World."
I was tempted to post "Satellites" from the Doves for this Sublime Sunday song, but another tune from the same album jumped right out at me. I hadn't heard the album in awhile and it was refreshing. "Pounding" is faster, janglier and filled with awesomeness.
Newsweek has put together a myriad of top 10 lists of the last decade, but this one is my favorite - the top 10 happiest endings.
Came across this post at Operation Nice, one of my favorite blogs out there.It's about Cami, the fabulous founder of the 29-Day Giving Challenge. This blog falls somewhere between having a stranger smile at you to being struck by something so beautiful and unexpected it moves you to tears.
